'The Chicken and The Egg' was photographed over two days in a street in Hull during the 1990s. The paradoxical statement was physically placed on the wall behind the unsuspecting cyclists. The object of the project was to make a piece of art from an everyday experience, such as cycling. However, the experience of actually standing for many hours, waiting for the cyclists to pass me by, literally affected the way in which I viewed cyclists and the nature of cycling.
